Gradually, perhaps even inexorably, downtown Louisville dining is returning from myriad difficulties during the past 18 months.
The latest downtown returnee is Bristol Bar & Grille, closed since the pandemic’s onset, but now open again Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jason Thomas has the overview at Louisville Business First.
Popular Downtown Louisville restaurant reopens
All three Bristol locations are now open in Louisville. The Highlands location, at 1321 Bardstown Road, reopened for dinner in March 2021, and the Bristol East location, at 300 N. Hurstbourne Parkway, remained open throughout 2020 offering carryout during renovations and opened for lunch and dinner following renovations in October 2020, according to a Bristol news release.
But there’s even more to the story: “The Bristol Bar & Grille has also brought back its longtime chef, Ramone Forcelledo to oversee the Bristol’s restaurant and catering operations.”
