Hard Rock International is announcing its most extensive menu change in the company’s history with more than 20 new offerings debuting in Hard Rock Cafe locations around the world today. The new menu puts the spotlight on its lineup of all-new, award-winning Steak Burgers, headlined by the world’s first edible 24-Karat Gold Leaf Steak Burger that will benefit Action Against Hunger. The debut will also feature boozy milkshakes, sliders and shareables. The global launch of the new menu coincides with Hard Rock’s Founders’ Day as a tribute to the original legends who opened the doors to the first Hard Rock Cafe at Old Park Lane in London on June 14, 1971 with a mission to serve the best burgers and milkshakes around the world.
They will be celebrating the release with two free birthday bashes. Tomorrow, June 14, they are offering a salsa night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with free salsa dancing lessons from Louisville Salsa Underground and prizes. RSVP on Eventbrite. Then, on June 21, they’re hosting the 4th Street Live Takeover from 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm. This is a free event with a burger eating competition for charity from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. The first 150 guests will receive a free pair of Hard Rock Cafe sunglasses; the Kentucky Balloon Guy will be present to provide an extra party aspect as well, plus artists to customize your pre-purchased Hard Rock Cafe Classic T-shirt. The star of the show, Hard Rock Cafe’s new and award-winning Steak Burgers, are created with a proprietary beef blend and include:
- The 24-Karat Gold Leaf Steak BurgerTM – A 1⁄2-lb. fresh Steak Burger topped with 24-Karat edible gold leaf with Tillamook cheddar cheese, leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomato and red onion. Through the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, a portion of all proceeds from the 24-Karat Gold Leaf Steak Burger will benefit Action Against Hunger to assist in the fight against world hunger.
The Original Legendary Burger – The burger that started it all! This fan-favorite is a 1⁄2-lb. fresh Steak Burger with applewood bacon, Tillamook cheddar cheese, crispy onion ring, leaf lettuce and vine-ripened tomato, served with Hard Rock’s signature steak sauce on the side.
- The Big Cheeseburger – A 1⁄2-lb. of cheesy greatness, this burger features three slices of Tillamook cheddar cheese melted on a 1⁄2-lb. fresh Steak Burger, served with leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomato and red onion.
- Double Decker Double Cheeseburger – A tribute to Hard Rock’s 1971 “Down Home Double Burger” and the iconic double-decker buses synonymous to the brand’s London roots, this burgers consists of one full pound of two stacked 1⁄2-lb. fresh Steak Burgers with American cheese, mayonnaise, leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomato and red onion.
- BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger – This 1⁄2-lb. fresh Steak Burger is seasoned and seared with a signature spice blend, topped with house-made barbecue sauce, crispy shoestring onions, Tillamook cheddar cheese, applewood bacon, leaf lettuce and vine-ripened tomato.
New shareables include items like One Night in Bangkok Spicy Shrimp, Whiskey Bacon Jam Sliders and Three Cheese and Roma Tomato Flatbread, everyone at the table can indulge in their favorite menu items.
