Over the winter the long-dormant former Applebee’s building on Grant Line Road in New Albany began stirring, and was completely transformed on the exterior, erasing most of the chain restaurant traces.
We love it when indies reclaim their turf.
Eventually I saw an alcoholic beverage application, and the waiting game began.

La Fogata Taqueria

Strictly speaking, a taqueria specializes in tacos and burritos, but La Fogata goes far beyond this, boasting an encyclopedic six-page menu selection comprised of sopes, huaraches, gorditas, fajitas, tortas, quesadillas, seafood, chicken and yes, even tacos and burritos. Our favorite: the Burrito Hawaiiano.
