The mission of MozzaPi is to create food and experiences that bring joy to people’s day. We seek to create an environment of respect, appreciation, abundance and gratitude. This means constantly ensuring that our pizzas, baked items, stone milled flour, and educational experiences are always memorable, unique and experiential.
MozzaPi, the Anchorage-based maker of house-milled flour, sourdough pizzas and baked goods, opened its second location last week at TEN20 Craft Brewery at 1020 East Washington Street in Butchertown. In an information release, Tom Edwards, founder of MozzaPi, elaborated on the expansion.
“We focus on a balance between simplicity and creativity with our pizzas, with a great deal of emphasis on milling our flour for our dough and finding the best local and seasonal ingredients. The partnership with TEN20 will be a great one because we share a lot in common in terms of our philosophy about quality and ingredients.”
MozzaPi at TEN20 is located at the front of the brewery, with windows facing the street. Other food offerings at TEN20 are Black Rock Grille and Happy Belly Bistro, the latter soon moving into a permanent location in the brewery complex.
TEN20 opens at 3:00 p.m. on weekdays, noon on Saturdays and 1:00 p.m. on Sundays, seven days a week. MozzaPi at Ten 20 is running from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., also seven days a week.
