Perso (741 E Oak St.) began operations in Shelby Park in 2021 as Square Cut, a Roman-inspired pizzeria, which by 2023 had evolved into its current form with added menu items. The popular pizza remains, alongside seasonal dishes, house-made charcuterie and craft cocktails.
Recently the owners of Perso (Emil David and his wife Liz) took over Ciao Ristorante at 1201 Payne St. in Irish Hill.
Both Perso and Ciao are now offering half-priced bottles of wine all day, every day, for those inhabiting bar seats at the respective eateries.
In addition, Ciao has added “Happy Hour After Dark,” with selected $5 cocktails every day from 8:00 p.m. until closing, available for the whole restaurant.
