Artisan ice cream shop coming to Clifton
Ben Deutsch, the owner of Retta’s Scoop, moved from Brooklyn, New York to Louisville last year. He is currently running the ice cream business out of Chef Space, a restaurant incubator located at 1812 W. Muhammad Ali in the Russell neighborhood.
Retta’s Scoop offers unique flavors like Sweet Potato Pie, Fancy Toast, and Sour Dough PB&J. The company is currently selling its ice cream at five area retail locations, including Red Hog and Locals Food & Pizza Hub.
