Or, closer to home, there’s the Summer Solstice Eve Soiree at Street Grub & Hops, benefiting APRON Inc. The party starts at 2:00 p.m. this Saturday (June 19) at 3922 Shelbyville Road.
The event includes live music with Richard Powell at 2:30 p.m., and Danny Flanigan from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Designer Kelly Burgess of Apero Seasons will offer workshops on making summer solstice floral garlands and crowns (2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.)
