Yummi Yummi Sushi’s business hours 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Sunday. Michael L. Jones takes a deeper dive at Louisville Business First:
New sushi spot takes over former restaurant space
Sebastian Gonzalez, one of the restaurant’s co-owners, said he and partners specifically wanted to be located in South Louisville because of the lack of similar restaurants in the area.
“All of the sushi places are around Bardstown Road, Frankfort Avenue, or further East,” Gonzalez said. “We didn’t see any sushi places around here.”
Gonzalez spent 11 years as a sushi chef at Oishii Sushi on Taylorsville Road. His partners Brenda Guerrero, Jean Medndoza and Diana Valencia all worked with him at Oishii or other local restaurants.
