Butchertown’s Italian restaurant, Lupo, invited fans on Facebook to fulfill their brunch cravings yesterday with temptations like Harissa Bloody Marys and their Guanciale and Egg pizza. This is a new direction for the pizza focused restaurant at 1540 Frankfort Ave as they near the one week anniversary of launching their new lunch menu on Tuesday, December 5.
A Lupo manager told Food & Dining, “This was our first week doing it, and it was a little slow starting. But yesterday was great, and today was pretty similar. We’re happy.”
The restaurant will be open for lunch Tuesday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Their dinner hours will still be 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. There are a few differences between their lunch menu (below) and their fall dinner menu, which is on their web site, but there are a variety of pizzas, pastas, appetizers and salads on both. Carryout is available.
