In 2024 Apron Inc. is staging happy hour “friend-raisers” at different locations on the last Wednesday of each month.
The next event takes place on Wednesday, February 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Trouble Bar (1149 S. Shelby Street) — Celebrating the late Felicia Corbett.
Felicia was a valued supporter of APRON Inc. and a volunteer. She was “Head Potion” Manager of Trouble Bar. Felicia passed away in December after battling cancer for many years – such a fighter, and a lovely soul!
The prospectus:
- Heaven’s Door “Build Your Own S’mores Old Fashioned” experience, featuring Heaven’s Door products and Trouble Bar’s in-house syrups and bitters, plus Heaven’s Door custom marshmallows, which folks will be able to toast while their cocktail is being mixed. Felicia’s last Old Fashioned, as featured on Trouble Bar’s menu, was a S’mores Old Fashioned. Sales from the S’mores Old Fashioned will benefit APRON Inc.

APRON Inc. was created in 2011 to help provide financial relief to food and beverage industry workers in the Louisville, Kentucky metropolitan area who find themselves in need during times of crises. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, APRON Inc. has stepped up with a far greater volume of assistance to local workers than ever before.
