Granted, F&D is just a tad late with the news of Brew & Sip The Cafe‘s downtown opening, which took place at the end of April during Derby madness (and the digital editor’s vacation). As usual, Michael L. Jones broke the story at Louisville Business First:Â New cafe opens near busy Louisville intersection.
However, given that Jones quoted Brew & Sip’s owner LaToya Cook-Bradley as saying she’d be waiting for mid-June to hold a grand opening for her second location, it seemed permissible to delay the news a bit. As it turns out, the grand opening will double as a (is on Tuesday, June 14; see above) and a Juneteenth celebration (follows) on Saturday, June 18.
