It took only a long , long night for the owners of Cake Flour to close down its NuLu store and remove all the fixtures, but it has taken over two months to get their new space in the East End up and running.
Claudia Delatorre’s popular bakery is now located at 2400 Lime Kiln Lane, Suite C, in the Glenview Pointe Shopping Center off Brownsboro Road near Holiday Manor shopping center.
Now available in a suburban market are the bakery’s signature products made with organic and locally-sourced products. You can find cakes such as the Strawberry Fields and Bourbon Chocolate Caramel Cake, salted caramel cupcakes, Love Bugs (dense chocolate cake decorated to resemble a ladybug), cookies (including macarons), and breakfast pastries, such as sweet and savory scones, muffins, and croissants.
Specialty baking products, such as gluten free, soy free and non-dairy are also on offer.
