The next dinner and a movie at Seviche, Bardstown Rd., will be “Under the Tuscan Sun,” Monday and Tuesday, April 17 and 18 beginning at 6 p.m.
The movie is about the efforts of author Frances Mayes to restore an abandoned villa called Bramasole in the Tuscan countryside. The movie stars Diane Lane, and shows as much of the gorgeousness of Tuscany as one can stand in the two-hour running time.
The movie will be shown as dinner is served in the special events room at Seviche. The meal will begin with Tuscan white bean soup, followed by roasted cauliflower with black truffles. The third course will be grilled calamari with limoncello vinaigrette. The main course will be short ribs braised in Barolo with porcini mushrooms. Dessert will be pistachio biscotti.
The dinner and movie will be $95, which includes a cocktail reception and wine pairings with each course. Call (502) 473-8560.
