Tomorrow, Saturday, January 23, starting at 7 p.m., Mellwood Arts Center, 1860 Mellwod Ave., will host the B3 Bash, a benefit party for Kosair Charities. Entertainment will be provided byTony & the Tan Lines, and there will, of course, be a silent auction. For those who just want to drink and eat, the 3 “bs” stand for bacon, bourbon and beer. The beer will be provided by West Sixth Brewing, the Bourbon by Maker’s Mark, and the bacon will be in dishes prepared by chefs at 20 local restaurants.
Tickets are $80, which includes unlimited trips to the bars (Old 502 Winery will also participate with a selection of their products) and all the bacon dishes you can manage. And, as noted, the proceeds will benefit Kosair Charities by supporting clinical services, research, pediatric health-care education and child advocacy.
