It may seem early to begin promoting Louisville Craft Beer Week (LCBW) in August, when the event doesn’t even start until Sept. 13 (and runs through Sept. 21). But when you take a gander at the schedule, you’ll see why the team at Food & Dining magazine feels compelled to look out for you and your social-suds calendar.
This year’s event is packed with tap takeovers, new beer intros, burger and beer deals, cask nights, all-sour beer events … you name it.
If you make it to all of them, you’re either unemployed (or on vacation), have more money than sense or are a budding alcoholic—and possibly all the above. However, we judge no one for their attempt to do so. (No, that doesn’t mean you can call us for a ride if you misbehave.)
To see the full schedule, click here. On that page you’ll find the lineup as of Aug. 27, and you’ll also find a nifty link for a Google calendar that can be merged with your own Google calendar to get you positively confused as to your life’s priorities that week. (Note to everyone: Don’t merge the LCBW calendar with your Google work calendar. The Man will not appreciate it … unless he owns one of the bars below.)
If you’re too lazy to look, know that events are scheduled at the following haunts:
- Bank Street Brewhouse
- Thirsty Pedaler
- Nachbar
- Four Pegs
- Boombozz Pizza & Taphouse (Highlands)
- Against the Grain
- Irish Rover (Clifton)
- Bluegrass Brewing Co. (St. Matthews)
- Falls City Taproom
- Mellow Mushroom (St. Matthews)
- BBC Taproom
- River City Drafthouse
- Sidebar at Whiskey Row
Check back regularly since we’re sure this’ll be updated.
