New Albany’s Honey Creme Donut Shop, which will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2023, has joined with CC’s Kitchen at The Marketplace to vend doughnuts at a walk-up window and small retail space at 651 S. Fourth St. in downtown Louisville.
As an example of potential symmetry between these locally owned independent businesses, consider the upgraded Beast Mimosa at CC’s.

Honey Creme Donuts opens new location in Downtown Louisville
Owner Andrea Van Horn said she wasn’t searching for a location in Louisville, but when the opportunity arose, she took advantage of it.
“We’ve got a lot of customers that seek us out on this side of the river,” Van Horn said. “We gifted CC’s a box donuts and they were like, ‘Hey, we’ve got this walk-up window, what do you how do you feel about coming in?’ It seemed like the right thing to do.”
