Israel’s Delicias de Mexico Gourmet is now serving at its new 604 E. Spring Street location in downtown New Albany, opposite the Breakwater apartments, and in the same building that for many years housed Destinations Booksellers.
Note that unlike the restrictions in Kentucky, restaurants in Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana are still allowed to seat customers indoors, albeit with capacity and opening hour restrictions.
In this video, owner and chef Israel Landin offers a tour of his new digs. The Delicias de Mexico web site and Facebook page haven’t yet been fully updated with current hours, but I’m told the menu is the same as before, and can be viewed here. The phone number is 812-725-9139.
We’ve been following Landin’s restaurant relocation since March, when he was to have completed the move, but like so many others was compelled to change his plans when COVID-19 arrived.
