Beignet Bash 2025 at Old Louisville Brewery, benefiting Mattingly Edge.

Established in 2016 in an extensively remodeled historic structure at 625 W. Magnolia Ave., Old Louisville Brewery’s fervent regulars have always made it one of the closest thing to a Cheers setting among local breweries.

LEO Weekly offers a preview of Old Louisville Brewery’s annual Mardi Gras event in cooperation with the 501c3 non-profit Mattingly Edge, which “cultivates partnerships that enable people with disabilities to thrive at work, at home, and in relationships. Our mission is based on the belief that people with disabilities have the right to the same privileges and responsibilities as other citizens. We know that communities are better when everyone is included.”

7th Annual Beignet Bash Is Back At Old Louisville Brewery

The 7th Annual Beignet Bash will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025. The public is invited to attend. Old Louisville Brewery and Mattingly Edge are collaborating on this Mardi Gras-themed event, which will feature fresh-fried beignets, traditional king cake, and a special chicory-infused beer. An online silent auction, running from February 18 to March 4, is a new addition to this year’s celebration.

“This event embodies our mission to integrate people with disabilities into the heart of the community, celebrating their talents, contributions, and humanity alongside everyone else,” said Executive Director Hope Leet Dittmeier.
