Mellow Mushroom, the funky-friendly pizza chain, has closed its Middletown location. Mellow Mushroom opened at 805 Blankenbaker Pkwy., in the Blankenbaker Centre in August 2012.
The Atlanta-based company still has two other locations operating in Louisville — at 3920 Shelbyville Rd. in St. Matthews and 1023 Bardstown Rd. in the Highlands.
Mellow Mushroom serves stone-baked pizzas as well as calzones, sandwiches and salads.
