At 2441 State St. in New Albany, the former Tucker’s American Favorites floor space is being repurposed into two new concepts. Here’s what can be gleaned from social media posts, some of them at 812 Pizza Company (a sister business).
Pluk’d is described as a sports bar and family dining serving “lots” of chicken: wings, tenders, chicken & waffles, salads, wraps and sandwiches. There’ll also be burgers and a fried fish sandwich, among other “un-pluk’d” menu items.
The second concept under development is called Good Bowl.
It is a fast & fresh meal option. Rice quinoa and salad bowls, acai/dragon fruit/etc., soup, lots of topping selections (proteins, veg, fruit, cheeses, nuts) Preset bowls or build your own. Organic craft teas and lemonades as well as traditional sodas. Fast casual service style for eat-in or to-go.
As for an ETA: “We’ll be opening Pluk’d this winter.”
