ROC, the Highlands Italian restaurant at 1327 Bardstown Rd., (look for the American and Italian flags hanging from the pergola over the patio) has gradually been extending their service. A few weeks ago, ROC introduced a Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Now it is starting daily lunch service, Tuesday to Friday, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
The lunch menu will feature panini of various kinds, chicken Parmesan and mortadella sliders and macaroni and cheese, made with cavatappi and truffles. Lunch entrées will be chicken paillards and chicken milanese, Italian pork loin Parmesan and arugula and tomato salad.
