The Fat Lamb (2011 Grinstead Dr. in the Highlands) has announced a special upcoming event: “My Old Kentucky Home Visiting Chef Dinner,” to be held on Sunday, February 9, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Chef Christian Hunter (Atelier Restaurant in Chicago) and Chef Lawrence Weeks (North of Bourbon in Germantown) will join The Fat Lamb’s owner, Chef Dallas McGarity, to prepare a six-course dinner.

Tickets are $125 per person and can be purchased at Open Table.

Tomato Soup: hot water cornbread grilled cheese, basil, fresh olive oil – Chef Lawrence Weeks

Winter Caesar: roasted radish, bagna cauda, duck fat granola, romaine – Chef Christian Hunter

Ricotta Gnocchi: Freedom Run Farms lamb Bolognese, grana padano, baby arugula – Chef Dallas McGarity

Steamed Halibut: crab velouté, pomme dauphinoise, niçoise olive oil – Chef Lawrence Weeks

Goat & Peanut Burgoo: buttered rice, root vegetables, coconut milk, dates, ginger – Chef Christian Hunter

Milk Chocolate Mousse: cookie crumb, whipped cream, Italian cherries – Chef Dallas McGarity
