The First Annual Louisville Black Chef Showcase will be held on Sunday, August 13 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Henry Clay venue in downtown Louisville.
This tasting event aims to “put on full display the culinary talent from over a dozen of Louisville’s most notable Black Culinarians, as well as tastings of some delicious libations provided by our beverage sponsors.”
The helpful information release identifies a few of the chefs who’ll be participating, and notes that others are being added to the event lineup.

Sponsors include Louisville Tourism, Eight Up Elevated Drinkery and Kitchen, Hilton Garden Inn Downtown, The Henry Clay Event Center, Corky Creative, and Chef 2 Impress.
Tickets are $50 and still available via Eventbrite. All profits from the Black Chef Showcase will be donated to the Louisville Urban League, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering African Americans and other individuals to achieve social and economic equality.
