A recent collection of food and drink news by Amanda Hancock at the Courier Journal revealed plans for a new eatery downtown: The Misfit Lou, slated to open before the end of the month in a space (119 S. 7th St.) best known for housing Another Place Sandwich Shop and Jimmy Can’t Dance.
The Misfit comes from husband-and-wife duo Martin Svab and Ryan Hughes-Svab, who both have over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry and moved to Louisville in 2022.
