New Albany Taco Walk, a fundraiser for New Albany Main Street (formerly Develop New Albany) takes place on Saturday, September 7 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in downtown New Albany.
For those unfamiliar with the format, taco walkers purchase a ticket package, register at the Elks Club, the redeem their tickets for tacos at participating downtown New Albany restaurants, some of which may (or may not) offer discounts or specials.
(I looked for a Taco Walk restaurant list but didn’t see one at the official site; maybe it will be released this week prior to the event. As a side note, the New Albany restaurant list at NA Main Street’s web site appears to feature only those establishments that are paid members, so be aware that F & D has a convenient, gratis downtown New Albany bar and restaurant map, to be found here.)
