If you don’t live in Southern Indiana, odds are you don’t venture into New Albany very often. There are plenty of things worth crossing the bridge for, here are two for tonight:
From 5-7pm Keg Liquor (302 Pearl St.) continues their weekly wine tastings.
This week’s featured wines are from Invie Wines:
– Austerity White Blend
– Aveleda Vinho Verde
– Fleur du Cap Chardonnay
– Underwood Pinot Noir
– Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz
Tonight’s tasting coincides with New Albany’s Summer Concert Series.
To celebrate New Albany’s bicentennial, the city has partnered with Production Simple to offer free, family-friendly, Friday night concerts at Bicentennial Park (at the corner of Spring Street and Pearl Street). On the stage tonight are the bands Violent Knives and Kaleidico.
The concert if from 6-9pm, so stop by Keg on your way to the concert. If you find something you like during the tasting, owner Todd Antz says they’ll gladly hold it for you until after the show.
