As the keen observer once noted, at Thanksgiving a red wine pairs well with a crazy family.
The Wine Rack is a Louisville institution at 2632 Frankfort Avenue, noted for its broad selection of high-quality wines from throughout the world, in addition to fine beers and well-chosen spirits, and a palpable zeal for educating consumers.
For its November wine tasting, The Wine Rack is featuring wines for Thanksgiving.
Save the date and join us Wednesday, November 10th for one of our “old school/guided flight” outdoor tastings in the courtyard. This Thanksgiving Wine Event Tasting will include Sparkling, White and Red wines to be presented by John Johnson. It’s free to attend but RSVP is required due to limited space and social distancing. Weather permitting, we can hold 40 for this session, so if you plan to come, please let us know right away. One Session Only! Please click (to RSVP): 5:30 p.m.
As an aside, my own strategy for wine at Thanksgiving has been to drink Belgian ale with the turkey and fixings, and save the wine for dessert; specifically, a nice tawny port wine. User experiences may vary…
