Many readers will recall Bayou Butcher Shop’s owners Serena and Ellis Taylor from their previous affiliation with the eponymous Taylor’s Cajun Meat Co. in New Albany, which continues to operate at 3306 Plaza Drive without their involvement.
Their new Bayou Butcher Shop has been in the works for several months, with the “On Da Geaux” food truck working remotely as the bricks ‘n’ mortar construction proceeded at 1645-2 Veterans Parkway in Jeffersonville.
