Blak Koffee (at Facebook) is embarking on its second location. The business opened during the summer of 2023 in the Russell neighborhood, and the new shop is in Parkland, just to the south. Here’s the story:

Blak Koffee will open its second location next month inside Goodwill Industries of Kentucky’s West Louisville Opportunity Center at 2820 W. Broadway.
Ronyale Smith, co-owner of Blak Koffee, said the grand opening celebration for the roughly 3,500-square-foot coffee house and café is scheduled for Sept. 27.
“Construction will be finished around Sept. 15 or 20, and then we’ll do a soft launch were we only serve people in the building,” Smith explained. “We won’t advertise or anything, but the grand opening will be a different matter. We plan to do something big.”
