610 Magnolia owner Edward Lee is very happy that Food TV is encouraging children to become fascinated by the food culture at ages that are younger than what most fine dining restaurants allow. Working from the premise that there is no better way to create a food culture than to expose kids to it at an early age, Lee is offering a special Kid’s Night at 610 Magnolia Sunday, March 20 at 5:30 p.m.
The 610 Magnolia menu, without simplification, will be served in smaller portions. Chef Lee will give a presentation to all the children before dinner and give them a kitchen tour at the end of dinner. Children are asked to be well behaved, but will be encouraged to explore and ask questions about anything in the restaurant during dinner.
This is a special night for both parents and children alike to share in the fine dining experience without the awkwardness of being the only young child in the restaurant.
The 3-course dinner with canapés will be $65 per adult and $25 per child (14 and under). Beverages, Tax and 18% gratuity are additional
It is recommended that children be at least 5 years old unless they are really excited
to come in which case they are more than welcome.
