Paristown’s evolving Village Market food hall (712 Brent Street) aims for a September opening, and this week it acquired a new tenant. Bunz Burgerz, which has operated for 11 years at 969 Baxter Avenue and specializes in smash burgers, will move into the food hall.

Highlands restaurant relocating to new food hall in Paristown

“After 11 years at this location, we decided it made a lot of sense to move Bunz to a more appealing and active spot like the Village Market,” said Brandon Detenber, owner of Bunz Burgerz, in (an information release). “We will have the same menu with the same great burgers, and same great staff, including my three kids who are really looking forward to taking part in all of the events in Paristown.”

Village Market’s tenants include Jeff’s Donuts, Ramble and Taco Rita. One food service space remains to be filled. According to Cawthon, “opening in mid- to late-September, the Village Market’s hours will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Jeff’s Donuts will have special operating hours of 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.”
