Heine Brothers’ Coffee, Louisville’s original fair trade and organic coffee roaster, announced today that its first location in South Louisville is now open at 3541 Outer Loop, just off I-65 in the Okolona neighborhood. The new, spacious 2,500 square-foot café is the company’s 17thlocation and includes a convenient drive-thru as well as an outdoor patio.
March 14 at 9 a.m., Heine Brothers’ will hold an official ribbon cutting celebration at the Okolona location with Mayor Fischer and Greater Louisville Inc. That morning beginning at 6 a.m., the first 200 customers will receive a limited-edition Heine Brothers’ Okolona reusable travel mug packed with special offers.
“I think this may be the most-requested neighborhood yet from a customer standpoint,” said Mike Mays, Co-founder and President of Heine Brothers’ Coffee. “We already feel very welcomed, and if all goes as planned, this will be one of several South Louisville locations.”
This Oct. will mark 25 years since the company opened its first location in the Highlands neighborhood.
Hours for the new Okolona café are:
Monday – Thursday 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Friday: 6 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday: 6:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Sunday: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The next new Heine Brothers’ location at the new Bridgepointe Commons development at Gottbrath Parkway and Ind. 62 in Jeffersonville, Ind. could open by the end of 2019.
