Previously I surveyed the advent of the latest in fried chicken near Germantown.

There’ll be Dirty Bird at the former Tim Tam near Germantown

The soft opening ceremonies are concluding, and Dirty Bird is here.

Grand opening is February 10, and here’s the description I wrote for our Dining Guide (the next F & D print edition will appear in March).

Dirty Bird
(1022 Clark’s Ln.)
Chef Allan Rosenberg’s fried chicken joint plays fowl in the best conceivable way, with the bird brined for 24 hours, tossed in a special seasoned flour blend, then pressure-fried. It’s the former home of the Tim Tam tavern across from St. Xavier High, on the contested border of Audubon and Schnitzelburg.
