The Kentucky Beef Council, always looking for a way to promote Kentucky-raised beef products, has made this event an official entry in Kentucky Derby Festival. So get creative with ground beef and try for the prize.
The winner will win $750 in prizes, have their burger showcased in Lexington and Louisville-area Kroger stores and appear on the May menu as the Legendary Burger in Hard Rock Café in Louisville.
Recipes need to be tasty, creative and prepared with ease. The window for entering recipes is March 10 through March 24. You can submit your recipes by going to www.kdf.org/beef.
