There are a lot of “Best” lists going around, an inevitable result of our clickbait age. But, recognition is recognition, and a new Louisville restaurant has recently been so recognized.
The Food Network has included Le Moo, 2300 Lexington Rd., in its list of 25 best steakhouses in the U.S.
The Food Network listicle cites Le Moo for both its “top-notch meats” and its “fab decor.” Among the latter, the listing cites the brick walls, elaborate chandeliers, the Louis Vuitton booth and other castle-like appointments. Among the former, attention is brought to the dry-aged New York strip and rib eyes, the grade-8 Wagyu and unusual side dishes such as drunk-cut fries, Peruvian gigante lima beans and Grandma Ev’s braised collard greens with country ham.
The list does not order the restaurants in descending order of wonderfulness, but you will need to click through to about the middle to find Le Moo’s entry. Along the way, take a look at the august company it is in.
