In a re-invention of its upstairs bar and party space, Butchertown Grocery will open Lola, a late-night drinking, dining and entertainment lounge, tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 23.
Located in Butchertown Grocery’s upstairs bar, at 1076 E. Washington St. Lola will be open and serving food until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, and until midnight on Wednesdays and Sundays. The menu choices will include fries, spinach artichoke dip, a Cuban sandwich, fish and chicken sandwiches, beignets and a Florentine panino, with fried eggplant, peppers, goat cheese, pepita pesto and chips at prices from $8 to $15. Also on the menu is a special late-night cheeseburger available only after 12:30 a.m.
There will still be a stage for live music and other entertainment events. The downstairs will remain a restaurant.
