The video is from Van Halen’s debut album. Now for two Louisville restaurant debuts: Smoked on Second and One Thirty Three Bar + Bites, both located on the corner of 2nd and W Liberty Street (133 W. Liberty; previously Griff’s), and both set to cut their grand opening ribbons on Thursday, October 8 (that’s tomorrow).

Craft Culture Concepts (CCC) is billing One Thirty Three Bar + Bites as “downtown Louisville’s newest upscale dining destination with a local flare.” According to an information release, One Thirty Three’s menu is “handcrafted (and) locally-sourced,” to be accompanied by a “large, bourbon-centric bar selection.”

Business hours for One Thirty Three will be dinner service Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; and closed on Sunday.

Smoked on Second is adjacent to One Thirty Three. It’s a “local BBQ smokehouse offering authentic smoked-on-site BBQ and made from scratch sides and sauces, complete with a full craft bar.” CCC is positioning Smoked on Second as a live music venue (both local and national artists).

Smoked on Second will be open for lunch and dinner: Monday through Wednesday 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday through Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.; and closed on Sunday.
