The Hermitage Farm Sunday Supper Series returns to the Barn8 Hayloft on April 18 with Chef Samantha Fore in the kitchen.
Based in Lexington, Fore started her popup restaurant Tuk Tuk Sri Lankan Bites in 2016. Tuk Tuk is one of the few representations of Sri Lankan cuisine in the United States and menus reflect Fore’s spin on Southern classics and riffs on her mother’s time-tested recipes. Her work has been featured in multiple national publications including on the cover of Food & Wine magazine and she can be seen on PBS’s “Somewhere South.” She was selected as one of Southern Living’s 2020 Cooks of the Year.
The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th with cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres, setting the stage for the four-course dinner with drink pairings. Guests can purchase additional beverages.
Pandemic protocols mean seating is extremely limited, and reservations are necessary.
Tickets are $150 per person, including appetizers, drink pairings, four courses and gratuity. Reservations are available at 502-398-9289, or email cconlin(at)hermitagefarm(dot)com. You’ll need a credit card to hold the reservation, and cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance or the card will be charged the full ticket amount.
