Tomorrow, September 5, beginning at 6 p.m. at The Ice House, 226 E Washington St., seven local storytellers will relate amusing, entertaining, educational or admonitory tales about their connection to Bourbon. The event is the latest in a series of storyteller nights, on various topics, sponsored by the Courier-Journal.

The story tellers involved will include Loreal Gavin, A “Food Network Star” contestant and “Cutthroat Kitchen” winner who’s known for her Maker’s Mark tattoo; Pamela Heilmann, master distiller at  Michter’s Distillery; Wes Henderson, the founder and chief innovative officer for Angel’s Envy Distillery; Freddie Johnson, a third-generation employee at the Buffalo Trace Distillery, where he works as a tour guide; Pat Melton, the Franklin County sheriff who caught the culprits affiliated with the Pappy Heist;  and Trey Zoeller, the founder of Jefferson’s Bourbon, the company that recently sent Bourbon barrels on a trip down the Mississippi River.

Premier tickets include a pre-show reception with snacks and are $13. General Admission tickets are for those who want to get right to the storytelling and cost $10.
