The Brown Hotel at the corner of 4th and Broadway in downtown Louisville will celebrate its centennial with a “Roaring Twenties” blast on Wednesday, October 25.

On October 25th,1923 we opened our doors for the very first time in the heart of downtown Louisville. In honor of our anniversary we will be hosting a Roaring Twenties-themed gala just as we did during our very first year. General Manager Brad Walker offered his thoughts in an information release.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to reach and celebrate such a momentous milestone in our hotel’s history. The loyalty of our numerous customers in the city and across the globe over the past century is invaluable to us, and we look forward to celebrating that together with a night to remember right here where it all started.”

Guests attending the ticketed event are encouraged to don their best Roaring Twenties-inspired attire for an evening of dining, dancing, prizes and more in the Brown’s crystal ballroom.

The anniversary gala will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m., and dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required and there’ll be a special room rate of $99 plus tax for overnight guests.
