The Brown Hotel hosted Wild Turkey’s Master Distiller Jimmy Russel last Friday for a wonderful bourbon and bluegrass event on their roof garden patio.
Guests enjoyed a beautiful sunset with banjo music and cocktails from Wild Turkey alongside delicious hot browns, barbecue, and sides like sriracha coleslaw in addition to other tastes before headed inside to hear Russell speak about the Wild Turkey distilling process and guided tasting, including Matthew Mcconaughey’s small-batch line of bourbon, Longbranch — which was very smooth and my favorite. Kentucky Straight Ice added to the unique exerience with premium ice branded with the Wild Turkey logo (see photos below.)
