Wiltshire Wednesdays begin January 22 at Logan Street Market. These monthly pop-up dinners will spotlight chefs from the Wiltshire Pantry family of restaurants, each in turn charged with creating a unique menu featuring items from the market. Optional wine pairings from The Breeze Wine Bar also will be available for purchase.
Wiltshire’s founder Susan Hershberg previewed the first pop-up in an e-mail.
Our first Wiltshire Wednesday Dinner will be on Jan. 22nd with Chef Dustin Calery. Dustin joined Wiltshire Pantry in 2016 after a successful career as an executive chef on the West Coast. Under Dustin’s leadership we have elevated our lunch program at our Barret Avenue location to include housemade pastas, innovative soups, salads and sandwiches. Dustin will be creating a classic Alsatian Dinner with appetizers as guests arrive, a plated salad course followed by a family style Chou Croute Garni. Dessert will be an Alsatian Apple Tart.
Paired wines by the flight, glass or bottle that will be available for purchase from The Breeze are: Riesling or a Cremant D’Alsace with appetizers; Pinot Blanc with salad; Pinot Noir with entree; and Gewurtzraminer or Cremant Rose with dessert.
The price for this Wiltshire Wednesday Dinner at Logan Street Market on the 22nd is $50 per person (dinner only). The optional wine tasting flight (3-ounce pours with each course) is $20 per person.
Logan Street Market is located at 1001 Logan Street.
