The Frankfort Avenue Business Association (FABA) is hosting its first Food Truck Sunday on Sunday, April 21, the morning after Thunder Over Louisville.
The event will be held on the lawn of the St. Joseph Children’s Home (2823 Frankfort Ave.), from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and feature food trucks include Grind Gourmet Burger Truck, Sweet ‘N’ Savory, French Indo-Canada and the Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen.
Expect live music and face painting and other entertainment. FABA is encouraging its business members to participate by opening their shops this Sunday to entertain crowds once they’ve eaten. Sidewalk sales from local retailers and neighborhood residents will continue along Frankfort Ave. from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
FABA wants this to be an annual event the day after Thunder Over Louisville, which sounds like a great idea to us since the weather is typically PRETTY and WARM on the day AFTER Thunder Over Louisville. So why not get outside, get soak up some sunshine and get your grub on?
