Here’s a timely excerpt from F&D’s Winter, 2022 edition:
Situated at 712 Brent St. in revitalizing Paristown, The Village Market is a new-school food hall, bringing five independent restaurants into a collective service area with a house-run bar. The new concepts are Sarap Filipino Eatery, Taco Rito (flex-Mex) and Ramble (fried chicken sandwiches), while Bunz Restaurant (smash burgers) moved expressly to the hall, and Jeff’s Donuts has other area locations.
Now we must add another option to The Village Market Food Hall’s lineup: Banditz Pizza. On August 1, WDRB-41 had a preview of Banditz.
“Our crust is a crossover of a flatbread and Neapolitan pizza that is different from what other pizza places in Louisville are offering,” Rob from Bunz said in a news release. In addition, Banditz Pizza offers personal or shareable-sized pizzas as well as specialty pizzas like The White Chicken Pizza featuring a seasoned Alfredo sauce with mozzarella cheese, grilled chicken, bacon, red onion and basil chiffonade.
According to Banditz, “we will officially be open everyday now.”
