.Tin Man, which distributes in Louisville, closed its taproom in March but continued brewery production while seeking a new owner, according to a press release.
The investment firm Neace Ventures owns and operates Falls City Brewing, Old 502 Winery, Over the Nine and Brownies “The Shed” Bar and Grille.
Under its robot logo, Tin Man brews beers such as Damascene Apricot Sour, Rivet Irish Red, Alloy APA, Current pilsner and Overlord Imperial IPA. With Neace’s purchase of the business, the brewery will continue to operate with a full staff and its current management. Taproom operations in Evansville will resume, but plans for a reopening date have not been decided.
Falls City recently announced it will move its Louisville brewing operation to East Liberty Street in NuLu/Phoenix Hill where it will also open a taproom, beer garden and canning line. Old 502 Winery will in the future expand its existing operations at 116 S. 10th St.
