Griffin Paulin has transferred the love he has for Asian street foods, and his experience in preparing them at the now-defunct Rumplings, into Mirin, at 2011 Frankfort Avenue in Clifton. His new fast-casual restaurant serves ramen, bahn mi, and Asian salads and soups.
Mirin’s menu features four ramen noodle dishes, Vietnamese-style banh mi sandwiches, Chinese-style steamed bao buns ($2 to $3) and “other stuff”, such as Bibim Guksu, a spicy Korean-style salad, and Banh Khoai Mon, Vietnamese rice balls.
Once Mirin’s liquor license is processed, the bar will offer 30-plus sakes, draft beers, and house wines.
