Latin jazz, Cuban cuisine, and Cuban cocktails with a Bourbon twist are on the menu for this year’s Bourbon Mixer, an annual fundraiser that over the last few years has raised more than $80,000 in donations for area causes. This year’s event is a benefit for Louisville’s Coalition for the Homeless.
Sponsored by the Whisky Chicks and the Bourbon Brotherhood, this Sixth Annual Bourbon Mixer celebrates the legacy of Cuban culture with music from the six-piece band Los Hermanos, an assortment of Cuban dishes, and an assortment of especially created Bourbon-based riffs on Cuban cocktails.
Whether you’re a Bourbon aficionado or just Bourbon-curious, you’ll be able to interact with a slate of Master Distillers and taste products from more than twenty distilleries.
Admission includes cocktails, tastings, food, and more. And early birds get great discounts!
Full price for this event is $125, but purchase your tickets before July 1, and they’re a mere $75. (prices rise to $100 during July).
