The Summer 2023 issue of Food & Dining Magazine — our 20th Anniversary issue — is now available in all the familiar places: Louisville area eateries and food shops, newsstands and online.

There are a few moving parts to this two-for-one SoIN story, so bear with us.

Harry’s Taphouse and Kitchen, the Jeffersonville sports bar that famously thumbed its nose at the pandemic’s challenges in 2020 and opened to acclaim by the Ohio River where Flat12 used to be, now has launched a second location at 5580 Highway 62, seven miles away from the flagship.

You’ll notice that numerous internet sources as yet declare 5580 Highway 62 to be American Smokehouse Stadium, which it certainly had been, but as it turns out the restaurant swapped buildings somewhat quietly in April and now operates at 1000 Auction Lane.

So, don’t be misled. The second location of Harry’s Taphouse and Kitchen currently can be found in Jeffersonville where American Smokehouse Stadium formerly held court. Harry’s is open 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11:00 a.m. to 12 midnight on Friday and Saturday; and 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Got all that?

Good.

At the present time both of the Harry’s locations are running their social media and website areas are under one banner, and it can be a tad confusing, although we probably can expect greater clarity as time passes.

Meanwhile from the F&D time machine in 2020, with a spoiler alert: the brewing system at the original Harry’s never materialized, although to know Tony Revak is to grasp that there’ll always be beer choice aplenty anywhere he’s behind the sticks.
