A second location of the NuLu staple Royals Hot Chicken will land in Jeffersontown by the end of the year, according to founder Ryan Rogers.
The Royals Hot Chicken page at Facebook has the short version of what to expect at the new shop: “Southern fried chicken in Louisville, Kentucky featuring Nashville-style hot chicken with scratch-made sides, milkshakes, craft beers, and champagne.”
“We just can’t be busier at the original (Royals) Hot Chicken location than we are,” Rogers told the Louisville Courier Journal.
“We’ve seen steady growth every single year for four years, and we don’t want consumers to be waiting 20 to 30 minutes for lunch. I’m hopeful we can take some of the burden off of the downtown location by adding this second one.”
According to Google, the new Royals will be exactly 290 feet from Feast BBQ’s Jeffersontown store. Rogers’ HiCotton Hospitality restaurant group includes these eateries:
