It all began with a group of friends helping Keith Brown build a storage shed. That shed morphed into a gathering place for those friends and their families to grill up some food and down a few beers. Now, in the last few years, a business has grown with locations in the East End at 237 Whittington Pkwy. in Hurstbourne Plaza, and at 1578 Bardstown Rd, in the Highlands. Now a third location of Brownie’s The Shed will open at 826 W. Main St., New Albany.
The New Albany site has been Fieldhaus, which will relocate at a to-be-determined location in downtown New Albany.
All Brownie’s the Shed locations are sports bars with a menu featuring bar snacks, salads, 6 burger variations, melts and paninis, various sandwiches (including fried bologna), wings and flatbread pizzas.
Fieldhaus has closed as of last Saturday. Brownie’s will open in about two weeks.
